Your real life, photographed the way you wish you remembered it
A lifestyle session is not a posed portrait in a field. It is two unhurried hours in the place that already means something to you — the kitchen where everyone ends up, the porch, the timber behind the house, the shop where you built the business. We photograph you moving through it.
There is structure underneath the looseness. We scout light before you ever pick up a coffee cup, plan a short list of moments worth making, and then get out of the way. Children are allowed to be children; dogs are welcome and usually improve the pictures.
Because these sessions are designed around a wall commission, we shoot with a finished piece in mind from the first frame — one signature image, printed large, hanging where you will walk past it for the next twenty years.

- Where do lifestyle sessions take place?
- In your home, on your property, or at an outdoor location across Mattoon, Charleston, Champaign, Effingham, and the surrounding Coles County area.
- How long is a lifestyle session?
- Roughly two hours, which gives us time to move between rooms or locations without rushing children or pets.
- What does a lifestyle commission cost?
- Sessions begin at $650, which covers the consultation, the shoot, editorial retouching, and your wall art design appointment.
- When is the best time of year?
- Golden-hour light from late spring through October is our favorite, but in-home winter sessions are just as beautiful.
