Maternity sessions are the quietest work we do. Soft, sculpted studio light, a full wardrobe of gowns and drapes on the rack, and enough time that nothing feels rushed — because at thirty-two weeks, rushed is the last thing you need.
Everything is provided. You arrive with your partner, your other children if you want them, and nothing else. We handle gowns in every size, optional professional hair and makeup, and posing that flatters a body doing something remarkable.
Sessions run in our Mattoon studio and are booked for clients across Charleston, Champaign, Effingham, Tuscola, Sullivan, and Shelbyville. Most families finish with a framed portrait for the nursery hallway and a small album for the grandparents.

- When should I schedule maternity portraits?
- Between 28 and 34 weeks is ideal — the bump is beautifully defined and you're still comfortable moving through a session.
- Do you provide gowns?
- Yes. Our studio wardrobe includes a full range of maternity gowns and drapes in multiple sizes at no extra cost.
- Can my partner and children be in the photos?
- Absolutely. Most maternity commissions include a set of family frames alongside the solo portraits.
- What do maternity portraits cost?
- Maternity commissions begin at $625, including wardrobe, editorial retouching, and your wall art design session.
